IN PHOTO: Camarines Sur National High School Gabaldon Main Building (Registered Property, City of Naga)
Built in 1915 with the help of Hon. Tomas Arejola, the Gabaldon building is a two-storey structure made of concrete and wood in a style typical of the early American era. Following its completion, the building became the new home for classes that had previously been held on Mabini Street in Barangay San Francisco. During World War II, the building served as the headquarters of the Japanese forces. After the war, classes resumed but the building was declared unsafe in 1949. Eventually, it was repaired and reopened for classroom instruction.
