Orientation and Workshop on Philippine Registry of Heritage and Registry Forms in the Province of Oriental Mindoro
An orientation and workshop on the Philippine Registry of Heritage (PRH) and its forms was held from June 4 to 5, 2024 for the Province of Oriental Mindoro. Organized by the Provincial Tourism Office of Oriental Mindoro in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the event gathered tourism officers, cultural officers, Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR) representatives, and professors. The workshop aimed to introduce the provisions of RA 11961, clarify roles and responsibilities in heritage preservation, and familiarize participants with the PRH structure and documentation processes. Facilitated by the PRH team, the sessions focused on the proper use and submission of registry forms, as well as the process of maintaining a Local Cultural Inventory.
