THE PHILIPPINE REGISTRY OF CULTURAL PROPERTY (PRECUP)
DATA PRIVACY STATEMENT
The Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP) is the registry of all information pertaining to cultural properties in the Philippines deemed significant to our cultural heritage. It was established thought Article V of Section 4 of Republic Act 10066 otherwise unknown as the National Heritage Act of 2009. The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) is authorized to maintain and operate the Registry in the NCCA Portal Cultural Databank.
The PRECUP Office upholds the mandate of the Constitution to protect the fundamental human right of privacy. As such, it is responsible in securing private data being submitted by cultural agencies and local government units without compromising its commitment in providing access for public information.
As point of action, the PRECUP Office commits to:

As point of action, the PRECUP Office commits to:
- Protect from disclosure to the public any information relating to the location or character of cultural properties in the PRECUP when disclosure would create a substantial risk of harm, theft, or destruction to the cultural properties or to the area or place where the cultural properties are located. In case an interested party shall make a request for its access, it shall be subject to the approval by the Commission.
- Coordinate with Management Information System Section to ensure that the data submitted shall not be compromised;
- Coordinate with the National Privacy Commission and other relevant agencies in realizing its mandate with regards to data privacy;
- Comply with relevant data privacy laws, agreements, and regulation to which the NCCA subscribes.
