January 2024 Philippine Registry of Heritage Update
The Philippine Registry of Heritage (PRH) Office recently published its Monthly Status Report for January 2024. Click the link below to see the current number of cultural properties included in the Registry and the Local Cultural Inventories (LCIs) submitted last month.
January 2024 STATUS REPORT
Local Government Units that have initially submitted their LCIs for the year 2023 with missing documentary requirements may complete their submission until March 31, 2024. Pursuant to the DILG-NCCA Joint Memorandum Circular 2021-001 or the Amended Guidelines on the Standardized Submission of LCI under the PRECUP for the Issuance of Certificate of Compliance (COC) to Local Government Units (LGUs). The Palaui Island Protected Landscape and Seascape is a conservation area situated along the coast of Luzon in the Philippines. The area spans around 7,145 hectares and is located in the municipality of Santa Ana, Cagayan province. The protected area includes Palaui Island and its adjacent waterways, which feature a variety of ecosystems including forests, mangroves, and coral reefs. Palaui Island is renowned for its picturesque landscapes and diverse range of wildlife and plants, making it a prime destination for ecotourism and a vital sanctuary for numerous species.
