PRECUP Status Report for December 2023

 

The Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP) Office recently published its Monthly Status Report for December 2023. Click the link below to see the current number of cultural properties included in the Registry and the Local Cultural Inventories (LCIs) submitted last month.

DECEMBER 2023 STATUS REPORT 

Local Government Units which have initially submitted their LCIs with missing documentary requirements may complete their submission until March 31, 2024. Pursuant to the DILG-NCCA Joint Memorandum Circular 2021-001 or the Amended Guidelines on the Standardized Submission of LCI under the PRECUP for the Issuance of Certificate of Compliance (COC) to Local Government Units (LGUs). The Sambuokan Festival is an annual celebration held in Mati City, Philippines. It showcases the cultural heritage and traditions of the local Mandaya and Mansaka tribes. Its success led to legislative measures supporting its continuity, emphasizing the preservation and education of historical values, culture, and traditions in Mati City. The festival typically takes place in October, coinciding with Mati's founding month.
